Directions   GETTING TO THE LIBRARY From the south, take 146N towards Worcester. Take the Slatersville/Forestdale exit (Routes 5 & 102). Go to the top of the ramp, turn left. This is Main Street Forestdale. Continue about 3/4 mile and on right you will pass a white church and the Town Common. Ahead is the Town Hall (a brick building). Pass the Town Hall (bear left down the hill). On the left you will see a stone building, the North Smithfield Public Library. We are just before the Slatersville Post Office.   From the North Take 146 South Look for the 146A South exit, Turn left on to 146A,Quaker Highway You are now entering Rhode Island Continue north on Main St/RT 5 Continue straight at the intersection. At the T take a sharp right Down a small hill We are the first building on the left Parking is past the building.
