Favorite Recipes from our Friends

A Cookbook Compiled by the Friends of the North Smithfield Library

In commemoration of the North Smithfield Public Library's 20th anniversary of it's 1989 expansion and renovation at the historic John Slater Building, the Friends of the North Smithfield Public Library are pleased to present a community cookbook: "Favorite Recipes from our Friends." As the Library provides nourishment for our minds, we hope " Favorite Recipes From Our Friends" offers inspiration for our North Smithfield family and friends to cook and eat together.

The Friends of the North Smithfield Public Library ("Friends") is a non-profit organization established to cultivate community interest and support for the North Smithfield Public Library and the services it provides to the residents of North Smithfield.  The all volunteer Friends board host a variety of fundraising, educational and community events throughout the year in order to build the Library's resources, services and valued place in our community.

What's better than a friends secret recipe or you family's trademark celebratory meal? With the generosity and kindness of North Smithfield Public Library's many friends and neighbors, "Favorite Recipes From Our Friends" contains a wealth of recipes inspired by generations gone by and shared from today's busy kitchens and cooks.

The Friends of the North Smithfield Public Library sincerely thank our contributors, the North Smithfield Public Library staff and all previous and current Friends and Trustees board members and officers for their continued and unending support of the works the Friends do on behalf of our valuable public library.  We hope you enjoy this up and coming delectable collection of tasty, engaging and appetizing recipes from all of our "Friends".  Bon appetite!
