North Smithfield Public Library will be collecting non-perishable food items to benefit local families in need.

A donation box will be positioned near the front desk.  

Sample items:

Canned soup, fruit, vegetables, meat, juices, beans, canned and dry, stew's and chilli, peanut butter, jelly, 

rice, pasta, cheese and cracker packages, granola bars and anything else you think might be helpful.

We are also collecting old eyeglasses to donate to the Lion's Club.
